Case Competition

University students from all over the world compete virtually for a distributed $25,000 USD in prize money as they identify solutions to today's most pressing issue - global energy poverty.

Why a Case Competition?

Our mission is to shape the next generation of energy leaders by engaging talented university students in solving real-world energy challenges. Through our competitions, we provide a platform for showcasing innovative solutions and promoting collaboration. We aim to inspire critical thinking and drive progress towards a sustainable and equitable energy future.

Understanding the Competition

Build a Team

Self-formed teams of 3-4 university students will participate virtually to identify solutions to some of the world's most pressing energy challenges. Students can be from the same school or different schools, but at least two students on each team must be undergraduate students (Bachelor's candidates); remaining team member(s) can be graduate student(s) (MS or PhD candidates). All students must be currently enrolled at a college or university and may be pursuing any major.
